AN ELEGANT SCANDINAVIAN HOME – FIND OUT THESE STUNNING IDEAS!
This home, which seems to have come out of your dreams, actually exists and is located in Sweden, more precisely on the Gotland island. It is a 17th-century property which was restored to be sold. The choices made, both with regard to furniture and materials, give rise to intrinsic, high impact interiors. The environments are strongly connoted and they tell a lot about the land on which they arise. Let’s check!
Looking first at the outside you can already partly understand the style of the house. The color palette is very well-defined, based on cool, delicate and refined colors. Very nice skirting board that resembles the frame of the window and just perfect the idea of using a bench and a vintage chair to easily decorate this space.
A VIEW OF THE OUTSIDE
The outdoor spaces are large and of a certain level, the garden around the villa is very large and well cared for. The building is impressive, so it is easy to guess that the interior spaces are quite large.
THE SCANDINAVIAN HOME INTERIORS
Entering you stay aloof from this wonderful glimpse. The ceiling with the structure and the walls, thick and slightly irregular edges, are already elements that affect the quality of the room. In addition , architects have chosen with great skill the furnishing accessories, remaining faithful to the original palette for fabrics and pillows and inserting objects of retro charm, such as vases in the corner.
THE SLEEPING AREA – BEDROOM PART 1
This bedroom, which looks perfect for guests, is a real dream! The height makes it extremely airy and the wooden structure, which finds its counterpoint to the floor, makes it cozy, enveloping. In this delicate scenario, the chandelier is the perfect completion.
THE SLEEPING AREA – BEDROOM PART 2
This is without doubt the master bedroom. Such a sumptuous bed is certainly not from everyone! What better than waking up with delicate veils? Even here the clear wood in the Nordic style – rightly – wraps the room, giving a strong sense of protection, reiterated by the structure of the bed.
The master bath, which is accessed directly from a dream wardrobe, is a true spa! The shower is practically a real room completely covered in travertine. If this is not a luxury…
In the living area, minimalism makes it a master, but there is no heat in it. Firstly, the roof has a beautiful looking structure with dark beams, and then the fireplace and the wood hut are elements that bring great warmth to the environment, not just in the climatic sense. They make “home.”
Note that the color palette is always the same throughout the house, even here in the kitchen, passing through the fireplace bench. The beautiful island structure is extremely modern, plus it is very convenient to have more work space – than to have a quick meal. Excellent choice to use the mosaic for baffle boards, gives it a unique brightness!
LET’S HAVE A LOOK AT THE PLANTS…
The ground floor is entirely dedicated to common areas, to the living area.
ON THE FIRST FLOOR
Going up the entrance to the sauna – on the other hand we are in Sweden – and the master bedroom, with the annexed environments.
Finally there is a top floor with other guest rooms and studios. There is nothing missing, no?
